Why your brand needs this one customer story
You make a promise, so prove it.

The first thing you should do when building your customer story program is to identify your brand's main promise (or promises) and then look for customers who prove you do what you say.
Once the story is complete, you can add it to the homepage right next to where you make the promise. This shows anyone who visits the site that your product actually does what it says it does.
Here's a great example

Look at Ramp's homepage. Its headline is "Time is money. Save both."
Scroll down a little and a Notion customer story appears, showing how the tool saved $1M+ on global spend and a link to the full story.
This is followed by a whole wall of stories from other brands proving all the claims the company makes on its page.
Promise + proof is a powerful combination
This blend of promise then proof is so much more persuasive than simply stating what your brand does. It shows potential clients a provable trail of customers who have actually achieved these results.
